Switch to Wordpress

Since I have been so impressed with Wordpress 1.5 on neal-family.com, I decided to switch the blogging engine for cyberhomie.com from moveabletype to Wordpress.

Whats so special about wp. Got it set up on my website, just recently got access to webspace and also db.

Am trying to learn more about the html/rss/php/db backend. But what dvantage does wp hold over movable type other than it installs easy and its open source/better license?
