Predator

Bought the collector’s edition of Predator tonight. Sarah and I will be watching that and Predator 2 (which I, um…, borrowed from a friend) tommorow night .

AvP Marathon

Well we finished the Alien part of our AvP marathon, now I just have to get a hold of the Predator movies. I can probably precure a copy of Predator 1, either by renting it or buying the new release DVD, but Predator 2 has been quite a bit harder to find. The two rental places here in town have 1 copy each but both are gone until after AvP comes out. Can’t find it in the stores either. The second Predator movie hints at the whole AvP idea, but noone is smart enough to carry a few more copies of it or stock it in the stores. I think it is a missed revenue opportunity. Grrrrrr

My Workspace

In response to a contest that PalmAddict is doing, I decided to take some pictures of my office and explain what all I have set up. Quite a few people that have seen my set up thinks it is pretty cool. What do you think? Please comment.

26 Today

I’m 26 today. Nothing special. Maybe Sarah has something special up her sleeve – kinda doubt it tho.

Alien & Predator Marathon

In order to prepare for Alien vs Predator opening next weekend, and to familiarize my wife with the Alien and Predator sagas – we are having an Alien and Predator Marathon this week. Tonight we start off with Alien and Aliens. Tomorrow probably Alien 3 and Alien Resurrection. Wednesday and/or Thursday Predator 1 & 2 – that is if they are available. The 2 movie rental places only have one copy of some of these movies. Couldn’t find a copy of Predator 2 – really want to find that one since it hints on the whole AvP.

Well off to bed.

Happy Anniversary!

Today marks 3 years of marraige between Sarah and I. Time seems to be going by pretty quickly.

Sometimes it seems to be pretty tough, but I don’t know what I would do without her. Not to sound too sappy or anything, but she really does “complete me”.

Thanks Bill and Pam (Sarah’s parents) for the anniversary and birthday gift.

Down to Chicago

My wife and I decided to go down to Chicago again this year to celebrate our anniversary. Forgot my new Airport Express, which is great to have at hotels that have high speed – but it wound up not mattering at all. We stayed at the Hawthorne Suites in Schaumburg – nice place – high speed wireless, pool, hot tub, breakfast, the works.

We had a nice weekend…

My new “Gadget”

Well my new gadget isn’t a electronic device, it is a miniature dachshund puppy. I bought it through work with Animart, it is a purebred miniature dachshund, couple months old, black with brown dapples. Sarah (my wife) came up with the name “Gadget” – I was a little surprised, I figured a name like that would sound too “geeky” for her. But the name stuck.
